Last July Mel and Karina Rasse hosted a Basketball Camp and a championship playoff at our Monte Blanco Camp facility for 85 competitors from towns in the Cruzeño Andean valleys. Attending that camp, along with their two children, was a prominent couple who happened to be the Orthodontist (husband) and MD (wife) of the town of Quirusillas. During that camp they and their family accepted the Lord Jesus Christ as their Savior. At the same camp they committed their lives to helping reach others from their town and the surrounding towns with Mel and Karina. Upon returning to their home they began a Bible study in their home that has now been organized into a church they just recently called “El Faro” (The Lighthouse). Here are a few pictures of Dr Rodrigo sharing his testimony publicly for the first time.

I (Tim Ramsey) had the privilege of sharing lunch with them in their home back in March and can give testimony to what a joy and encouragement they were to me and LATCOM Board president David Drake. Uphold them in your prayers and giving as their little church grows and looks for land on which to build a church home.
