Work & Ministry Teams
Sharing the Gospel
through your expertise, experience
and hard work

Your toil for their future.

A rejuvenated generator powers up, and lights go on in several homes in a small village in the jungle...

Kids from nearby villages come running down the dirt road, excitedly coming to the Vacation Bible School...

A trowel smooths over a wall of adobe brick. In a few years, this cabin will house youths from all over the country and continent...

By going to Bolivia on a LATCOM work team, you are doing more than digging, sawing, and teaching. You are building hope for the Gospel of Jesus Christ to affect change in the lives of many.

Why go on a Work and Ministry Team?

• See mission work firsthand.
• Meet and get to know Latin Americans and their culture and country.
• Encourage Latino Christians in their faith.
• Share your building expertise -- or just your hard work.
• Organized outreach, such as evangelism and VBS, can also be done.

How you can be involved.

• Organize a team from your church. Your group can be combined with another church team.
• Help to fund a work team project. You may not be able to go, but you can share your blessings from God with those who can.

What kind of work is done?

Retreat Center: LATCOM is currently re-developing 200 acres of Monte Blanco at Tambo Camp and Conference Center in Bolivia, in the foothills of the Andes. Teams will be going down in the coming years for capital improvements.

Modest Homes: Zapocó is an Ayoré village in the eastern jungle of Bolivia. LATCOM has been helping in its church and community development. Currently, we are building simple two room houses for the villagers.

Future work in small villages in the Lomerio region.

Daily Vacation Bible School

DVBS is well-received with Bolivian children, even when the teachers are only English-speakers. Our translators will help you with your church's program. Wherever we have held DVBS, whether in Zapoco or Concepcion, or at Monte Blanco or the Lomerio, nearly all the available kids will attend.
