Our goal is that Latin Americans and their nations be transformed with the Gospel and a Biblical worldview, through training, equipping, and motivating current and future leaders.

Gifted Leaders

LATCOM enables Latin American Christians who can influence their society for Jesus Christ. These gifted men and women are called to reach their people with the Gospel, taking the Good News to centers of influence...business, government, education...from jungle villages to metropolitan cities of Bolivia, South America.

Culturally Rooted

Understanding the nuances of a society takes many years of cultural immersion. LATCOM's roots in Bolivia stretch over a half a century, and we are rightly seen not as a "foreign" mission but as a Bolivian organization. We have a lifetime of relationships and faithful missionary service.

Strategically Placed

Santa Cruz, Bolivia, is in the geographical and political center of South America. Basing ministry in and around Santa Cruz has national and international influence. But it all begins with the unprecedented opportunities to touch individual lives, offering them meaning, purpose, renewal, and direction.

National Ownership

Foundational to LATCOM's vision is to build-up the leaders within a society. LATCOM believes that nationals are capable, Spirit-led, and eager to share the Gospel with their fellow countrymen. This philosophy has led LATCOM, from its inception in 1984, to place its ministries in the hands of nationals.

Cooperation

Realizing that no one organization can reach this goal alone, LATCOM cooperates with like-minded evangelical organizations and churches by focusing on training, equipping and motivating their leaders for the task of reaching their countries with the Gospel. As much as possible, LATCOM seeks to develop leaders and organizations that are self-supporting, self-governing, and self-propagating.

Integrity and Accountability

LATCOM seeks to be excellent in the work that we do and strive for integrity in the management of our resources. Because of this, we have chosen to be an active member of the Evangelical Council for Financial Accountability (ECFA).
