USA donors and Bolivian missionaries work together

Villages benefit from partnership

For the past seven years many of you have been faithfully supporting the work of our missionaries to the Ayoré and Chiquitano people as they worked evangelizing, church planting, and in leadership development in Zapoco and among the 28 villages of the Lomerio area of Bolivia.

Three years ago the First Presbyterian Church of Trenton, Michigan, donated funds that helped us buy a 12 ton truck for ministry and work team use in Bolivia. We placed this vehicle in the hands of our national missionaries to use when teams are not there for work in Zapoco and the Lomerio.
Last summer the First Baptist church of New Castle, Pennsylvania, donated a video projector and a portable screen along with some DVD’s for use with evangelism. These tools of the Kingdom were taken to Bolivia by a team from First Baptist Church of St. Cloud, Florida, who placed them into the hands of our national missionaries for use among the Ayoré and Chiquitano people groups.

So here is the math for this year... 2 national missionary couples + 1 stake-bed 12 ton truck + 1 video projector + 1 portable screen + 2 USA construction teams + 1 USA ministry team + excited local believers = visible numeric growth among the churches of the Lomerio area, two un-evangelized villages reached (Santo Rosario and San Simon), one new church built (Monterito), hundreds of children reached through Vacation Bible School programs, two youth conferences, and two leadership training retreats. Your gifts, prayers, and going are building up the church in the Lomerio area. Thank you!

Here are some of the ministry goals going into 2008.
1. Evangelize the unreached communities of the Lomerio using videos.
2. Encourage and evangelize in the existing churches.
3. Train the existing leadership and seek out ways of preparing future leaders among the believers of the Lomerio.
4. Encourage the existing churches to commit to Evangelism among the unreached villages through the use of Vacation Bible School programs.•
