Monte Blanco Camp & Conference Center
July 2007 Update:

Over 1,606 campers have been to Monte Blanco since January 1,2007. One high school sent us their senior class of 170 students of which 158 accepted the Lord.

Some recent testimonies …

“I felt the most amazing peace I’ve ever experienced and I’ll never forget it. Monte Blanco, you’re the best!”   (Juan Pablo)

“Before I came here I was so lonely that I wanted to kill myself. Nobody wanted me and I was deeply hurting. Here I found God speaking to me saying ‘Don’t kill yourself because I have plans for your life.’” (Alan)

“This was the best experience of my life because I made the most important decision of my life which was to accept Christ and I will never be sorry for that. I would love to return and live these experiences once more. I made new friends and met God in a way I never imagined possible before.” (Claudia)

“I shared with my friends and they helped me learn things about my character
that I never knew. I can feel the presence
of the Lord here and heard His voice telling me, ‘Be courageous.’ Now I genuinely
know who I am.” (Mijail)
We desire that everyone who comes to Monte Blanco will:

  • Be transformed by a personal relationship with Jesus Christ
  • To grow in faith and Christian character
  • Be motivated to know God, to serve Him, and to impact their society and world with Christian principles and values.
3 reasons why this Camp and Conference Center is needed
1. Children: the Future Generation

Forty percent of the population of Bolivia is under the age of fourteen. We are touching the lives of over 60,000 school children in Santa Cruz, but we want to do more. Monte Blanco will be a place where profound changes can take place in the lives of youth and children. We will provide excellent programs and build on the principles that we are teaching them in the public schools. Surveys in the USA have shown that children learn more life-changing biblical principles in one week of camp than they receive in an entire year of Sunday school and church.
2. University students: Tomorrow’s Leaders

Although ten percent of the students entering the secular universities of Bolivia are evangelical, less than two percent emerge as committed Christians.

The Gospel is seen as irrelevant to an educated, professional life.Monte Blanco will provide a setting where Christian principles can be taught to high school and university students, thus providing them with biblical foundations that will result in a life of devotion and service.
3. Today’s Leaders

The peer pressure on Christians to conform to their environments is relentless. Through our National School of Leadership, we have reached thousands of political, military, and business leaders. Monte Blanco will provide a place where these key leaders can be spiritually fed through retreats, seminars, and marriage conferences. Monte Blanco will also be a place where evangelism can follow up the ethical and principal based leadership training that we are doing with Bolivia’s military and police officers. Unlike the USA, there are few places where Christian leaders can go to be spiritually refreshed.
